and the environment
REDUCE, REUSE AND RECYCLE
At aquaclean we are responsible and we have a commitment. A commitment to the planet in order to leave a better place to live for our grandchildren.
Therefore, within our sustainability policy and following the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we have decided to act by committing to the 3 R’s: REDUCE, REUSE AND RECYCLE, incorporating them in all the design and manufacturing processes of our fabrics.
How aquaclean® helps the environment
At aquaclean we design and manufacture durable and environmentally friendly fabrics that can be cleaned simply with water; no soap or other chemicals. In this way, we not only make your life easier, but we also reduce the pollutant load of domestic waste, reducing the impact on rivers, seas and oceans.
We strive to create eco-designs that reduce carbon footprint and water footprint with the ultimate goal of designing and producing durable and environmentally friendly fabrics.
Recycled and recyclable collections
We carry eco-design in our DNA, our latest collection comes from 100% recycled plastic bottles. Each meter of fabric comes from approximately 20 plastic bottles of 1.5 liters. In this way, we close the cycle of this type of non-reusable material by giving it a new life in the form of fabrics for your home.
We help you to recycle
At aquaclean® we always make it easy for you, so we leave you this link to learn how to recycle correctly so you can continue to do your bit for the planet.
Do you want to know how to recycle?
For us, “don’t throw away, always reuse” is a maxim that we apply in all the processes of design, production and packaging of our fabrics. In aquaclean we have our own packaging, very resistant so that they can be reused either for the storage of the fabric itself, or for its re-shipment.
Also, remember that, if you must finally dispose of our packaging, you must do so through an authorized waste manager.
On the one hand, cardboard used in the manufacture of our boxes and tubes has the waste code LER 150101, and plastic film has the waste code LER 150102. On the other hand, fabrics have the waste codes LER 040222, LER 200110 or LER 191212.
It is essential to carry out a correct recycling process in order to reuse recycled fibers, plastics and cardboard, thus closing, once again, the life cycle of these products by converting them into top quality fabrics while respecting the environment.
